  • How do I order a trailer from North Florida Trailer Sales?

  • How much of a deposit is required at time of order?

--  Depending on options the minimum deposit is $500.00 and we adjust the deposit based on options, you may use a credit card, send a cashiers check, or money order to begin your order

  • Do you accept Credit Cards for full payments?

--  Due to increasing credit card charges, we must charge a  fee on top of any charges to a credit card, other than deposit charges

 
  • What is the average lead time I will need to order a trailer?

--  The lead time is based on the manufacturer's schedule, typically 2 to 3 weeks is standard.  Options impact the lead time.

 
  • What size ball do I need to pick trailer?

--  You will need a 2 inch ball for any of our single axle trailers and a 2 5/16 inch ball for any tandem axle trailers or 7 wide.

 
  • What kind of plug will I need to pick-up the trailer?

--  You will need a 4-way "flat pin" plug for any single axle (without brakes) and a round 7-way (RV TYPE) bargeman plug for any tandem axle trailers (with brakes)

 
  • What are the weight ratings on your trailers?

  • What are drop axles compared to straight axles?

--  Drop axles lower the trailer body by 4 inches lower to the ground providing a less aggressive slope with a ramp.  Straight axles are higher off the frame and are 18 inches from the ground to finished floor versus 14 inches with the drop axles

  • What are your hours of operation?

--   We are available Monday - thru Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM.  We also have limited access after hours, if we don't answer immediately, please leave a message and we will respond the next business morning.  Weekend hours are limited by appointments only.
